Brewery Bond, Distillery Bond and Winery bond
When you begin your brewery, distillery or winery, you’ll be required to obtain an alcohol tax bond by the state or federal government. It is required to be able to participate in the sale, manufacturing and warehousing of any type of alcohol. The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) requires the bond in order to approve your Brewer’s Notice. We can assist you in obtaining the bonding for your business.

A Brewer’s Bond is a federal requirement by the TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau). It guarantees that you will pay your federal excise taxes on the beer you produce. You cannot legally operate a brewery without it.
Standard property insurance does not. You need specific “Spoilage and Contamination” coverage. This pays for the value of your beer if a power outage, mechanical breakdown, or contamination event ruins a batch. We ensure your policy values the beer at its selling price, not just the cost of ingredients.
Yes. General Liability covers slip-and-falls, but it specifically excludes claims related to serving alcohol. Liquor Liability protects your business if a patron gets intoxicated at your taproom and causes an accident or injury after leaving.
